Sierra Contracting Inc. is now offering the services of a high grade filtering sock. The Sierra Sock is made from 100% recycled forest waste. We use SCI's composted mulch which is placed into a burlap tube. The socks are biodegradable and are a green replacement product for the conventional silt fence. We custom make the socks to any length. The socks are either 10-12 inches in diameter or 16-18 inches. Socks can also be purchased in a polyurethane version which will not break down. We recently tested the Sierra Sock for the NMDOT and have already seen much success. For contact information please scroll down.
